A doctoral thesis in the Computer Science Department discussed a proposal for a secure electronic voting system based on multi-biometric measurements and post-quantum cryptography

- The Computer Science Department discussed the doctoral thesis titled 'Proposed Secure E-Voting System Based on Multi Biometric and Post Quantum Cryptography' by the doctoral student Asmaa Ibrahim Hussein, in Computer Science, on Monday, 2024/1/8, in the department's discussion hall, attended by the head of the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan. The thesis aims to design a secure electronic voting system based on multi-biometric measurements and post-quantum cryptography. The thesis presents a secure and important electronic voting system for managing elections at the highest levels of quality, consisting of stages including voter registration, key exchange authentication, voting, and verification. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Muthil Imaduddin Abdul-Munim as the chairman, and members Prof. Dr. Sakina Hassan Hashem, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shatha Habib Jafar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hussein Ali, Prof. Dr. Abeer Tariq Mawlood as a member and supervisor, and Prof. Dr. Ikhlas Khalaf Kabashi as a member and supervisor."
