A master's thesis in the Department of Computer Science discusses a proposed prediction system for cryptocurrency transactions based on recurrent neural networks.

In the presence of the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, the Department of Computer Science discussed the master's thesis titled "Proposed Prediction System for Cryptocurrency Transactions Based on Recurrent Neural Network" by master's student Rehab Qasim Abdul-Kadhim, Computer Science / General, on Thursday, 2nd May 2024, in the late Dr. Abbas Fadel Abdul-Qader Hall in the Computer Science Department annex.

The thesis aims to design a system that predicts prices, closing prices, and trading prices for cryptocurrency investors. This prediction helps investors avoid losses and improve profits. The thesis presented an innovative model capable of making highly accurate predictions, demonstrating the efficacy of recurrent neural networks. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Yusra Hussein Ali as chairperson, and members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nada Abdul-Zahra Abdullah, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Gathwan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hassanain Samir Abdullah as a member and supervisor, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Jassim Hadi as a member and supervisor.
