In the presence of the University Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Farhad Mohammed Othman, the Scientific Assistant in the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. Abeer Tareq Mawlood, and branch heads, the Computer Science Department received an academic delegation from the Al-Hussain Holy Shrine on Thursday, October 10, 2024. The visit aimed to explore opportunities for joint scientific and research collaboration between the two parties, focusing on skill development in various fields, such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, with the goal of preparing specialized and advanced scientific personnel in different areas of computer science. This collaboration seeks to bridge gaps between academic education and the labor market needs in both public and private sectors. The delegation also toured the artificial intelligence and cybersecurity labs in the Computer Science Department to review the equipment and capabilities available.
