A master's thesis in the Computer Science Department discusses detecting tampered video frames based on a convolutional neural network.

- The Computer Science Department discussed the master's thesis titled: Detect Interpolated Video Frame Based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)

by the student (Ayat Razzaq Abbas), specializing in Computer Science/System Software, in the late Dr. Imad Kadhom Hall in the Computer Science Department building on Monday, October 15, 2024. The thesis aims to design a system for detecting tampering in video frames based on convolutional neural networks for classification. The proposed system consists of four integrated stages, with the most visible aspects in the image, such as edges and colors, being automatically identified and adapted accordingly. The examination committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Iqbas Ezzedine Ali as Chair, and members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdulwahab Sami Ibrahim, Assist. Prof. Dr. Hiba Basim Alwan, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ikhlas Faleh Nasser as a member and supervisor.
