The Head of the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kadhom Farhan, met with first-year students from all branches admitted for the 2024-2025 academic year on Sunday, November 10, 2024, in the late Dr. Imad Kadhom Hall in the department building. The meeting was attended by the Administrative Assistant, Associate Professor Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi, the Scientific Assistant, Associate Professor Dr. Mustafa Jassim, and the heads of the branches. During the meeting, the Head of the Department welcomed the new students and wished them a successful academic year. He emphasized the importance of adhering to instructions and maintaining discipline on campus. Students were introduced to the currently applied Bologna Process, informed about the department's website, and advised to consider it a key resource for information, announcements, lectures, and all matters important to students.
