A doctoral thesis in the Department of Computer Science discusses building a secure system for electronic commerce using the Advanced Encryption Standard algorithm

- The Department of Computer Science discussed the doctoral thesis tagged "Building a secure system for electronic commerce using the encryption standard algorithm." "Design A secure E-conmerce System Using Fast Encryption Algorthim" For PhD student Farah Tawfiq Abdul-Hussein on the discussion room in the building of the Department of Computer Science. The thesis aims to provide a secure environment for electronic commerce and to find a balance between the time required for encryption and protection operations and the speed necessary to maintain the efficiency of the system. The widespread transformation of many customers to rely on e-commerce systems in their shopping has made these systems rich in a sufficient amount of important information. The results showed that hiring a software agent to manage purchasing and coding improves system performance and increases response time. As for the recommendations, the use of statistical methods enhances the decision-making process used to improve the accuracy of the proposed lists of recommendations.
