-The first-year students, newly admitted to the Department of Computer Science, began their official shift for the new academic year 2021-2022 on Sunday 12/19/2021. -In implementation of what was stated in the meeting of the third session of the Central Committee for Academic Promotions for the academic year 2021-2022 held on 25/11/2021 and associated with the approval of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban. It was decided to upgrade assistant teacher Nour Haider Abdul Amir from the rank of assistant teacher to the rank of teacher.

-Professors, employees and students of the Department of Computer Science visited on Tuesday 12/14/2021 the Iraq International Book Fair, which opened in Baghdad under the slogan (The Book is a Homeland) on the grounds of the 22nd Baghdad International Fair for the period from 8 to 18 December 2021 under the auspices of the Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, with the great participation of international publishing houses, with many new publications and titles in various literary, artistic and cognitive fields to enrich the Iraqi library. During this visit, the latest publications of publishing houses were reviewed, scientific and cultural books were purchased, and souvenir photos were taken.
