-The head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel Hassan, chaired an electronic meeting via the Google Meet platform for the department's teachers on Monday 6-9-2021. The meeting addressed the importance of the Iraqi ranking and the need for cooperation and collaboration of all to complete the requirements of the Iraqi ranking. The Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, the teacher, Nada Najil Kamal, presented in this meeting an explanation of how to fill out a form in which the required information is collected from the teachers. This meeting was a window to spread the culture of quality and cooperation among the department's teachers.

- The Laboratories Division of the Computer Science Department, headed by Scientific Associate Dr. Noha Jamil Ibrahim, and in the presence of the Director of the Laboratories Division, Wissam Ali’s teacher, and laboratory officials, held a meeting on Monday 9/5/2021 in preparation for the new school year 2021-2022. In the meeting, committees were formed to examine, maintain and prepare laboratories, emphasizing the necessity of commitment Students follow the directives issued by the Laboratories Division to maintain laboratory equipment and apply safety conditions to prevent corona virus.

- The President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, met with representatives of the Computer Science Department Council, headed by the Head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan. - The activities of the first day of the Third International Scientific Conference on Computer Science for the period from 24-25 August 2021 were launched from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology today, Tuesday, 8/24/2021, in the hall of the Control and Systems Engineering Department, and in the presence of the Assistant President The university for scientific affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdel-Dahd, the assistant president of the university for administrative affairs, Dr. Hussein Hamid Karim, the head of the computer science department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan, and the heads of the scientific and engineering departments. The conference began with any of the wise remembrance of the teacher, Assistant Asaad Al-Zamili, and Surat Al-Fatihah was recited for the souls of our righteous martyrs, and then the national anthem was played, then the conference’s president’s speech was delivered by the assistant president of the university for scientific affairs, Prof. Haider Abd. And the speech of the head of the Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan, and the speech of the President of Al-Mansour University College, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Sattar Shaker Salman, and in the end shields and certificates of participation were distributed.
