- Prof. Dr. Ahmad Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, President of the University of Technology, extended his thanks and appreciation to the faculty members (Prof. Dr. Aliyah Kareem Abdulhussain, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tareq Sadiq, Prof. Dr. Iyad Roudan Abbas, Assoc. - On Sunday, July 21, 2024, the team from the Ministerial Committee, tasked with reviewing the establishment of a PhD program in Data Security, visited the Department of Computer Science. The team was received by Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, Head of the Department; Prof. Dr. Abeer Tareq Mouloud, Scientific Assistant; and Assist. Prof. Dr. Iyad Hazem Ibrahim, Head of the Computer Security and Cybersecurity Branch. The visit included meetings with the department staff, a tour of the classrooms, laboratories, and the department library, and an assessment of the availability of scientific resources. At the end of the visit, the committee praised the efforts of the Department of Computer Science leadership, represented by the Head of the Department, in developing and updating graduate programs. Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, Head of the Department, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the committee members, acknowledging their sincere efforts in establishing solid foundations for higher education.
