The Head of the Network Management branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Rahim Abdul-Sahib Okla, participated as a lecturer in the training course titled "Developmental Course for Promotion and Upgrading / Computer Science Specialty," which was held by the Center for Continuing Education from December 17, 2023, to January 8, 2024

In the presence of the Assistant to the President of the University of Technology for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Farhad Mohammad Osman, the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Professor Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, along with faculty members of the department, received a delegation from Tabriz University, Iran, on Sunday, 2024/2/11. During the meeting, they discussed ways of joint cooperation between the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology and Tabriz University, Iran, and the prospects of scientific and academic cooperation that would benefit both sides. Both parties emphasized the importance of exchanging scientific and academic experiences.

The lecturers (Dr. Mona Ghazi and Assistant Lecturer Noor Munim) gave lectures in the training course titled (Image Processing using Python Language), organized by the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Technology, from January 14th to 18th. This course is one of a series of courses in which the Department of Computer Science participates.

Female faculty members (Dr. Inaam Sakr Nasser, Ms. Noor Haider Abdul Amir, Assistant Lecturer Dalia Tariq, Assistant Lecturer Mai Sabri, and Assistant Lecturer Asmaa Rashid) from the Department of Computer Science participated in the training course titled (Image Processing using Python Language). This course was organized by the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Technology from January 14th to 18th.

Today, Tuesday, 2024/1/30, in the Department of Computer Science, the first semester examinations for the first stage students of the academic year 2023-2024 began. The Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, conducted an inspection tour of the examination halls, during which he emphasized the importance of adhering to the instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to successfully complete the examination process and facilitate any obstacles for the students to provide a suitable environment for them. He also appreciated the efforts made by the examination committees in managing the conduct of the exam.
