- Examinations for the second semester for postgraduate students (Masters and PhD) for the academic year 2022-2023 were launched in the Computer Science Department on Thursday 11/5/2023, under the direct supervision of the Head of the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. exam.

- The Computer Science Department team participated in the Technological University Football Tennis Tournament that was held on the university’s playgrounds for the period from (10-11 May) and under the supervision of the team coach, Mr. 1) In the final match, the Computer Science Department team lost to the Civil Engineering team (3-1). After that, cups were distributed to the winning teams, and the Computer Science Department ranked second.

- Distinguished female teachers and students from the Department of Computer Science participated with the Department of Communications Engineering and under the supervision of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the University of Technology, representing the university, where the number of participating female teachers reached 9 female teachers and 24 female students from both departments in the annual celebration of International Girls’ Day in the field of communications and information technology and participated in the high-level dialogue session level, which was organized by the Media and Communications Authority in cooperation with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) to empower girls in the communications and information technology sector at the Babylon Hotel (Gilgamesh Hall) on Sunday 5/7/2023 in the presence of the Minister of Communications, Dr. Hayam Al-Yasiri, and the President of the Media and Communications Authority, Dr. Faeq Nader, member of the Board of Commissioners, Dr. Hussein Flamers, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Director of the Leadership Initiative. During the celebration, a presentation was made by the two companies, Atheer and Asiacell, regarding the way the two companies work, the achievements and the positions they have reached. A presentation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding girls' statistics, and a presentation by the Women's Empowerment Section in the Media and Communications Authority. In conclusion, shields and gifts were distributed to the participants in the celebration. Where Professor Dr. Shaima Hamid Shaker, Director of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, Teacher Nada Najil, Director of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations Division, Teacher Taiba Walaa El Din Khairy, and Director of the Media and Government Communication Unit Raghad Kamel Hamoudi were honored. As for the female students, they are Noor Al-Zahraa Jawad

- Within the annual curriculum of the Computer Science Department at the University of Technology, the Computer Science Department, Software Branch, organized a scientific visit to the Central Library on Monday 10/4/2023. During which students were introduced to how to borrow books, search for electronic resources, and the mechanism for issuing a student ID for the library to borrow books and research to benefit from in their studies. The visit took place under the supervision of the Head of the Software Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Azraa Jassim Muhammad, the department rapporteur, Assistant Lecturer Osama Younes, and members of the Voluntary Work Committee in the department.
