A number of computer science teachers at the University of Technology have passed a training course
A number of the teaching staff of the Computer Science Department, Assistant Lecturer Mai Sabri Muhammad, Assistant
Lecturer Wissam Mahmoud Lafta, Assistant Lecturer Dina Kazem Mohsen, Assistant Lecturer Nada Najeel Kamal and
Assistant Lecturer Saja Sobeih passed a training course in the Super Map iDesktop program, which was held by the
Academic Training, Planning and Development Division Affiliated to the Office of the Assistant President of the
University for Scientific Affairs in cooperation with the global Chinese company SuperMap on November 17 and 18,
which was a remote course on SuperMap GIS, one of the applications of geographic information systems (GIS), whose
curriculum included program recognition, analysis and processing of 2D images and maps and 3D which is used for
spatial data analysis and remote sensing.

A teacher from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology receives thanks and appreciation
The lecturer in the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, received thanks and appreciation from
the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, in appreciation of his
distinguished efforts in completing and publishing the two researches below and within the containers of Scopas,
hoping that he would make more tender service to the beloved universities.
The first research is titled "New improvement with active expansion to improve HD5 function to achieve document
security"
This research aims to find a new and innovative improvement idea in improving hash performance in digital signatures
through the ability to deal with files and find digital signatures. The development idea was a completely new idea
in improving MD5 performance.
The second research titled "Improving the capacity of the QR Treasury by encoding the lossless compression
techniques." The basic idea is to find a way to improve the storage performance in the QR represented in storing
data by making use of the principle of non-lost compression and coding, and this will lead to saving large storage
areas and using them to protect Effectively original documents.

The Department of Computer Science holds a training course on information technology
The lecturer in the Computer Science Department, the Lecturer, Dr. Soheir Muhammad Zaki, held the training course
entitled "Information Technology and its Applications in the Medical and Administrative Field" at the Continuing
Education Center at the University of Technology for the period from 22-26 November 2020.
The aim of the course is to learn the latest digital medical applications, administrative digital applications, and
methods of organizing and maintaining important information.
A number of teachers and administrators participated in the course, and in conclusion, a test was taken for the
course participants.

A teacher from the Computer Science Department participates in the Sixth International Scientific Conference of the Iraqi Al-Khwarizmi Society
The lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Maysa Abd Ali, participated in the international scientific conference of the Iraqi Al-Khwarizmi Society in cooperation with the Faculty of Science / Tanta University in the Arab Republic of Egypt under the slogan "The rise of nations and the advancement of peoples in joint scientific cooperation" and held for the period from 22-23 November 2020
In her paper titled "Proposing an Algorithm for Hiding Information in a Video Based on Low Energy Conversion Using the Internet of Things"
The aim of this paper is to hide a secret message in a video frame to prevent the attacker from accessing the message. This paper suggested a new algorithm for hiding the secret message in the video. The result of this algorithm is very good at masking videos because it uses low power transmission.
