The Director of the Media Unit in the Department of Computer Science Senior Researcher. Raghad Kamel Hammoudi
participated in the workshop entitled (The Role of Media in Fighting Rumors), which was held by the Media and Public
Relations Department at the Center for Continuing Education for the period (26-27 / 1/2020) to the lecture by Dr.
Athmar Shaker Al-Shatry / College of Education for Girls. The workshop dealt with the definition of rumors as every

Publication of research for a PhD student from the Department of Computer Science
A student in the Department of Computer Science (Dhafer Hamid Abdul / College of University knowledge) published his research entitled "Classification of Arab political articles by using a vector support machine with extracting different features" under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed Tariq Sadiq and Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Roudan for the benefit of the international publishing house (Springer The idea of the research summarizes that the number of political articles that are published on the Internet is increasing, so determining the direction of the political article automatically is very useful in many areas such as educational and security, where three political directions were taken (reform, revolutionary and conservative) to solve this problem. The graduate follow-up unit in the Department of Computer Science (the unit director, an assistant teacher, Sura Mahmoud, and an assistant teacher, Manar Musab) participated in the workshop marked by the competitive transformation project which was held by the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dr. Munir Al-Mudhafar’s hall. The Department of Computer Science Council held its tenth session
In the presence of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Ghabban and the Chairperson of the Computer Science Department Assistant Professor Dr. Alia Karim Abdel Hassan and gentlemen Members of the Council of the Department of Computer Science held its tenth session on Tuesday 4/2020.
