Admission Conditions to the Department of Computer Sciences - University of Technology
Students applying for direct admission in the Department of Computer Sciences must be:
- Iraqi nationality.
- Have the secondary school degree with a certificate from the General Directorate of Education in the province. The application is submitted to graduates of the specialization (applied) for all departments. Graduates of the biomedical specialization will be submitted to the departments (Medical engineering, Electromechanical engineering and Computer sciences).
- born 1994 upward.
- Success medical examination and has no physical disability.
- The student must be free to study and not combine a job at the same time in the morning study. This includes the employees of government institutions. The students are required to continue to study for a study leave from their departments, according to the instructions. Two studies may not be combined. (The student can postpone the study according to the instructions to meet the requirement to complete two years of satisfactory service to be entitled to the leave of study and in accordance with the instructions for the grant of study leave).
- graduates of the current academic year exclusively.
Refistration Conditions and the required documents
The accepted student submits to the department with the following documents:
- The original document of the preparatory study, with the approval of the General Directorate of Education in the province, to the department register division, no later than the end of the first semester and submit a written pledge in this regard.
- a guarantee document according to the form prepared by the Department of Legal Affairs in the university include in its paragraphs materials urging the student to preserve the state property and not tampering with it and otherwise bear the penalty for the resulting damages.
- A colored copy of the certificate of Iraqi nationality and the identity of the civil status or the unified card of the student and his parents.
- Six recent photos.

Medical examination form:
- The student will not be registered if the application is not submitted at all.
- The original copy of the form must be delivered.
- The results of the medical examination shall be checked by department, if the student is not fit for the study, he/she shall write to the central admission for the purpose of admission to an appropriate college.
Registration Instructions
- The announced admission results will be published on the official website of the university. The announcement will be officially notified to the scientific department to start registering the students. The next day of announcement of the results on the site is the official day of registration. The student must register in the accepted department within 15 working days from the date of registration.
- Students whose names have not been announced on the results of direct admission for any reason shall be given a period of 10 working days for objection.
- The student must register in the department even if he/she is submitted the objection. If the objection is found, his/her admission will be modified and the registration procedures will be accepted according to his/her new admission. Based on a letter issued by the university registration, the documents submitted by the student will be delivered with an official letter, a record of delivery and receipt between the two sections, In accordance with paragraph (1) above.
- For students applying for evening study in public universities or private universities / colleges (for morning and evening studies) or to study in the universities of Kurdistan Region.
- The student who has not completed the registration procedures: The student can register in the study (Evening / Private / Region) directly and is not allowed to return to the department of the University of Technology later.
Graduation requirements
- Success in the curriculum materials for all classes
- Completion of summer training
- clearance document from the department
- Approval from the department council
