Under the patronage of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, and under the slogan “Women of Technology are a Continuous Giving” and in the presence of the heads of scientific departments, professors and affiliates, a celebration of the University of Technology was held on the occasion of International Women’s Day, which falls on the eighth of March of each year in the conference hall in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering in honor of the stature Women in society and in appreciation of their efforts to build the state. The celebration began with verses from the Holy Quran and the playing of the national anthem, then a valuable speech by the President of the University. After that, certificates of appreciation and roses were distributed to the women donors at the university. Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan with a certificate of appreciation. In the same context, the teacher was honored, Prof. Dr. Nidaa Falih Hassan, the affiliate Faten Fakher Juweed, and the student Lamia Hassan from the Data Security Branch.
