The student, Mustafa Raad Khalil, from the Department of Computer Science, Fourth Stage, Computer Security and Cybersecurity Branch at the University of Technology, won second place in a conference and competition held by Gilgamesh Private University for the period from December 19-20 under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi and in cooperation with the Etana team for software solutions and in the presence of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, and the Head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel Hassan. The competition is a challenge for a penetration tester or a group of penetration testers to solve a set of puzzles and reach the goal.
The competition included a set of challenges of gradual difficulty in digital forensic analysis, programming holes, penetrations and decoding codes, and it is required to find the target that is called science.
