The Department of Computer Science organizes a cultural symposium on the role of educational institutions in combating the drug scourge

- Under the auspices of the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassan Al-Ghabban, the Department of Computer Science organized the cultural symposium tagged “The Role of Educational Institutions in Combating Drugs” in cooperation with the High Commissioner for Human Rights in the discussion hall in the building of the Department of Computer Science on Monday 20/3/2023 in the presence of the Head of the Department of Science Computer Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan and Scientific Assistant Assistant Prof. Dr. Noha Jamil Ibrahim and Administrative Assistant Assistant Professor Bashar Saadoun Mahdi. The lecture was given by the international expert, Mr. Baraa Najeeb Al-Hadithi, and the legal advisor, Attorney Ayyam Jawad. In medication and medical affairs, the materials allowed to be used for treatment purposes were determined. The symposium aims to educate young people to beware of cafes, hookahs and barbershops, where free distribution of drugs takes place in the beginning in order to promote them to implicate young people and then sell them at the most expensive prices. Drugs are a malignant disease that must be Fighting it, as it is transmitted from one person to another, and emphasizing the necessity of choosing good friends and not being in suspicious places.
