A doctoral thesis in the Department of Computer Science discusses improving cloud computing resource provisioning and task scheduling based on machine learning

- The Department of Computer Science discussed the doctoral thesis Optimization Of Cloud Resource Provisioning and Task Scheduling Based on Machine Learning For doctoral student Muhammad Ismat Sino Computer Science/General today, Thursday 11/9/2023, in the discussion room in the Computer Science Department building. The thesis aims to enhance resource scheduling and efficient use and presents a new model based on cloud computing that is centered around the Linear Regression (CLR) method. The CLR model has proven its effectiveness. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdel Wahab as chairman, and Prof. Dr. Rana Farid Ghani, Prof. Suhad Malallah Kazem, Prof. Dr. Khaled Shaker Jassem, and Prof. Israa Tahseen as members. Ali and Prof. Dr. Ban Nadeem Thanoun, members and supervisor, and Prof. Dr. Omar Abdul Karim Jassim, member and supervisor.
