Under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Technology, the Department of Computer Science signs a twinning agreement with Al-Mustaqbal University, College of Sciences.

- In embodiment of the principle of integration and cooperation between public universities and private universities, and in execution of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the memorandum of understanding and cooperation (twinning) between the University of Technology / Department of Computer Science and Al-Mustaqbal University / College of Sciences was signed. The signing took place today, Thursday, 2024/1/4, in the presence of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghban. The agreement was signed on behalf of the University of Technology / Department of Computer Science by the Head of the Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, and on behalf of Al-Mustaqbal University by the Dean of the College of Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani. The aim of the agreement is to sign a memorandum for scientific cooperation and twinning between the Artificial Intelligence branch and the Computer Security and Cybersecurity branch at the University of Technology, with the Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity departments at Al-Mustaqbal University College of Sciences. The agreement seeks to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation between the two universities and to build strong bonds. It includes several clauses such as the Bologna Process, exchange of expertise between the teaching staff of both universities, enhancing student activities to develop joint programs, and organizing workshops, seminars, and scientific conferences to support the educational journey. The signing was attended by the Scientific Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Abeer Tariq Mawlood, the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi, the Head of the Artificial Intelligence Branch, Dr. Mustafa Jasim, and the Head of the Computer and Cybersecurity Security Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayad Hazem Ibrahim.
