Under the auspices of the President of the University of Technology, Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, and under the supervision of the Head of the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, with the attendance of the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Abeer Tarek Mouloud, the Computer Science Department organized a seminar titled "An Introductory Lecture on Cloud Networking and Collaboration Methods." This seminar was part of the cultural and scientific program for the second semester and was held today, Sunday, April 28, 2024, in the late Professor Dr. Abbas Fadhel Abdul Qader Hall in the annex building of the Computer Science Department.
The lecture was delivered by consultant trainer Amthal Adnan Al-Dhahir. The seminar covered the concept of cloud computing, which is an advanced technology that transfers computer storage to the so-called cloud, a server accessed via the internet. Cloud computing eliminates the need for users to store data on their devices. In education, its benefits include promoting collaboration between learners and teachers and providing numerous resources and services, allowing lectures to be accessed without the need for books. Many countries are currently adopting these networks and incorporating them into university curricula at low costs.
At the end of the seminar, the Scientific Assistant, Professor Dr. Abeer Tarek Mouloud, awarded a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer in recognition of his efforts in delivering the lecture.
