Professor Dr. Ahmed Tariq Sadiq from the Computer Science Department lectured in a workshop titled "The Most Important Artificial Intelligence Techniques in Electromechanical Engineering" on Thursday, May 9, 2024, in the Department of Electromechanical Engineering. The workshop was attended by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Abdul Hussein Bilal, the Scientific Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Hassan Jabal, and the heads of the Electromechanical Engineering Department branches. The workshop aimed to introduce the most important artificial intelligence techniques that benefit the electromechanical engineering disciplines. The workshop covered several topics, including machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and optimization algorithms. The workshop recommended preparing a curriculum for a smart technologies course for master's studies in the fields of electromechanical engineering, energy engineering, renewable energy engineering, electromechanical systems engineering, and navigation and guidance engineering. The workshop concluded with a Q and A session to address participants' questions and inquiries.
