The Department of Computer Science discussed the master's thesis entitled "Improving Data Privacy Based On Zero-Knowledge Proof Technique" by the student Sajjad Mohammed Shallaka (Computer Science / General) on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, in the late Dr. Imad Kazem Hall at the Department of Computer Science building.
The thesis aims to propose an online authentication system that focuses on data privacy and enhances the security of the authentication process. The results demonstrated that the proposed system provides a high level of security and reliability, showing effectiveness in segmenting, transmitting, encrypting, and securely storing information within the database, as evidenced by time tests, avalanche effect, and entropy.
The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Bashar Maki Naama as the head, and members Prof. Dr. Ikhlas Khalaf Kabashi, Asst. Prof. Dr. Suhair Mohammed Zaki, and Prof. Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdulwahab as a member and supervisor.
