The Computer Science Department discussed the doctoral dissertation titled: Face Mask Detection and Tracking of Video Stream Using Deep Learning

by the PhD student (Shahed Fadel Abbas), majoring in General Computer Science, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in the late Dr. Imad Kadhom Hall in the department building. The dissertation aims to develop an adaptive and accurate system for face detection and tracking, which involves using a face image with a mask to extract features with high accuracy. The examination committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Abdulameer Abdullah Kareem as Chair, and members Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Natheer Ibrahim, Prof. Dr. Hassanein Sameer Abdullah, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Raheem Abdul Sahib Akla, Assoc.
