A faculty member from the Computer Science Department delivers a lecture in a workshop on the university ecosystem and its role in entrepreneurship and achieving sustainable development goals in the Chemical Engineering Department.

- As part of the workshops organized by the Office of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies, a workshop was held on Monday, November 4, 2024, in the Chemical Engineering Department, organized by the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Division, under the title "The University Ecosystem and Its Role in Entrepreneurship and Achieving Sustainable Development Goals."

The workshop was presented by Dr. Manal Abdulwahid, Head of the Technological Incubator and Ecosystem Division, and platform programmer Assistant Lecturer Fadel Abbas, a faculty member in the Computer Science Department. The workshop covered the importance of the university environment in promoting innovation and supporting entrepreneurship among students, with participants discussing how the university ecosystem can be harnessed to achieve sustainable development goals through projects and initiatives that contribute to economic, social, and environmental development.

A detailed explanation of the ecosystem platform available on the university’s website was also provided. This platform offers various resources for students and entrepreneurs, including information on support programs, workshops, and funding opportunities. It aims to facilitate communication between students, investors, and experts, thereby enhancing innovation and sustainable growth.

The workshop saw significant engagement from students and faculty members, enriching discussions and fostering collaboration across different disciplines.
