The Department held a workshop for students to solve the problems of installing Oracle on modern systems

- The Laboratory Division of the Department of Computer Sciences held a workshop on Thursday, 23-11-2017 for students of the third and fourth levels of the software and information systems branches and the network management branch who study the databases in both practical and theoretical subjects. The workshop titled "How to install oracle 10g on windows 10" presented three solutions to the problem of installing and running Oracle 10g Developer on modern browsers in Windows 7, 8 and 10 operating systems. The workshop aimed to enhance the cooperation among students and spread the information they received during the workshop, which they participated in effectively.



The workshop was conducted under the direct supervision of the laboratory director. Wissam Ali Mahmoud. This workshop was prepared and presented by Lect. Asst. Nada Najil Kamal - Head of the Oracle Laboratory. During the workshop, a guidebook for students was prepared by participants. Lect. Asst. Nour Haidar Abdul-Amir - Director of Documentation and Alumni Division, Computer Science Department, Lect. Asst. Mohammed Sabah Rashid from the Information Technology Center. During the workshop, the software was distributed to the students as well as an introductory video of all the steps that were presented during the workshop. The workshop participants are:
