The student (Shahad Hisham Kamel) received her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (proposal of the structure of moving block cipher based on a secret map). In her thesis, Block Cipher is designed as a moving structure based on two of the proposed internal algorithms, Which created some additions to the LOKI97 standard algorithm as each internal algorithm is different from the other by its internal functions. The first proposed algorithm consists of the following functions: complementary DNA function, circular shift function, two layers of S-box, the animated flipping function and the Swap function.
The second proposed algorithm consists of the Shift function, the DNA add function, two layers of S-box, the flipping function of the LOKI97 standard. When the moving structure is executed, it will generate a secret key via the Logistic Map that is agreed between the sender and the recipient only. This key will change every time a new message is sent. While the message is divided into 128-bit clusters, one of the two internal proposed algorithms will be selected so that each block of the message is encrypted separately from the other blocks. The encryption process is based on the number generated from the logistics map that determines the route to be adopted by each Block to be encrypted.
It was on Sunday 25/3/2018 and on the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of Dr. Soukaina Hassan Hashem and Dr. Yusra Hussein Ali from the University of Technology / Computer Sciences Department And (Dr. Sadeq Abdul Aziz Mahdi) from Al Mustansiriya University / Faculty of Education / Department of Computer Science.
