The Department of Computer Science participates in a voluntary work campaign to plant 1,500 trees in the gardens of the University of Technology, in cooperation with the Baghdad Municipality
The volunteer work team in the Department of Computer Science participated on Thursday 11/24/2022 by planting 1,500 trees as part of the volunteer campaign set up by the University of Technology in cooperation with the Baghdad Municipality and under the direct supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Hussein Karim Hamid, and in the presence of the Head of the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. Alia Karim Abdel Hassan, with the participation of students and associates from the university’s departments and centers, and supportive staff from the departments of the Diwan, follow-up and student activities with the aim of increasing environmental awareness.
Volunteer work included increasing the green spaces in the University of Technology to reduce environmental pollution.

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology visits the Baghdad International Fair
On Thursday 11/10/2022, professors and students of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology visited the Baghdad International Fair in its forty-sixth session, which was held on the grounds of the Baghdad International Fair for the period 1-10 November 2022 under the slogan "The Land of Civilizations, Progress and Challenges to Attract the World," in which 12 countries participated In addition to many local and foreign companies.
During the visit, the participating countries were identified and models of their national industries such as modern cars, carpets, foodstuffs and perfumes were seen. The exhibition was an important commercial event that reflects the extent of commercial openness in Iraq and is an invitation to attract international companies to invest in it.
