- As part of a series of activities to develop the skills of teaching and postgraduate students, the Division of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations in the Department of Computer Science, in the presence of the head of the department, Professor Dr. Graduate and preliminary studies in the department The scientific workshop tagged "Formulation of the mathematical model for practical decisions in applications of artificial intelligence" on the discussion hall in the building of the Department of Computer Science on Thursday 12/15/2022 by the lecturer Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan Al-Mukhtar, a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The workshop dealt with building a mathematical model for practical decisions that are obtained in research laboratories used by researchers, which depend on several changes at the same time. Through the mathematical model, the originality of the research or thesis is achieved and the acceptance of the research is ensured in solid journals with a large impact factor. The establishment of the mathematical model is distinguished by the simultaneous change of all the changes entered at the same time and the study of their impact on the output so as to ensure the interference that occurs with the effect of these changes on each other in addition to how to build the algorithm and the method of programming it using Mathlab. In conclusion, Sumner's master's students presented a presentation on the use of statistics and probability in artificial intelligence applications.
