A teacher from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology participates in a two-research scientific conference
The teaching in the Department of Computer Science Professor Dr. Hana Mohsen Ahmed participated in the electronic
scientific conference held by the Baghdad College of Economic Sciences / Department of Computer Science under the
slogan (Information Technology to Promote E-Learning and Applications 2020), which was held for the period from
10-12 June 2020 and sponsored by IEEE with two researches first Entitled "Real-time Facial Recognition System Using
Al-Razabari Fa". The aim of this research is to build a system that works in real-time facial recognition for
disabled people and facilitates them to open the door lock remotely. As this system is cost effective, high
performance, safety and ease of use, which can be used as any application in the smart home. Where the system was
built with its physical and software parts) using the Raspberry Fa Al-Maan using the Violence Johnson algorithm for
facial recognition.
The second research entitled (classification of eye diseases using a multi-pyramid artificial neural network) the
human eye is an important organ responsible for human vision. This research deals with the diagnosis of seven
different external eye diseases. The graph and texture were extracted as a feature by Hugh Min Max (diff (HMMD), and
classification technology was used to achieve the goal of diagnosing external eye diseases. The proposed method was
applied to external eye diseases with a data set consisting of 416 images and the result was 85.26315% with an
accuracy rate achieved

A teacher in the Department of Computer Science publishes research in an international journal
The teaching in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology, the assistant teacher Wissam
Mahmoud Lafta, and the participation of the assistant teacher Ahmed Adel Abdel Wahid and the assistant teacher
Muhammad Adnan Abdel Wahab from the University of Basra, published their research tagged “Asymmetric clustering
algorithm with the IDA data routing algorithm to prevent the problem of hotspots in wireless sensor networks In an
international magazine and within the containers of the publishing house, Skopas.
This research introduces a new protocol that uses asymmetric network segmentation with the IDA routing algorithm to
extend network life. Asymmetric aggregation algorithms reduce contract power consumption and reduce the hotspot
problem by using the IDA algorithm to find the best path in the network. Where energy conservation techniques are
the primary means to extend the life of wireless sensor networks after dividing the network into feeding groups that
achieve long-term operation of the network where simulation results obtained prove that this approach improves the
stability of the network and extends its life compared to other related approaches.

teachers from the Department of Computer Science publish a research paper at an international scientific conference
The two lectures in the Department of Computer Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Maysa Abd Ali and Assistant Teacher
Tayba Walaa Al-Din Khairy published their research entitled "Comparing the Concealment of Information between Text
and Pictures" at the Fifth International Scientific Conference of the Iraqi Al-Khwarizmi Society in cooperation with
the Imam Hussein (P) Charitable Center for Development and Education for a period of (26-27 June 2020) in Karbala.
This research provides a comparison of techniques for hiding information between texts and images when hiding the
secret message in texts and images Here are several techniques that the researcher uses in the field of hiding
information, which aims to hide information to protect large data, such as text, image, video, and sound during
transmission between the sender and recipient.
The results obtained were both good and efficient without message being attacked by the attackers.

Research was published in a teaching scientific conference in the Department of Computer Science
The teaching in the Department of Computer Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Maysa Abd Ali, published her research
entitled "Encrypting the secret message and hiding it within the framework of the video using the magic box" at the
Fourth International Conference on Mathematical Sciences
The shrine is for the period from (17-21 / June / 2020) at the Turkish University of Maltepe in Istanbul.
The aim of the research is to hide the big data in the video frame, where a new method has been proposed to hide the
secret texts of large size in the video frame with efficiency and high accuracy in a way that consists of three main
stages. Hiding secret texts in a video frame using the secret key or magic square. The results obtained were good at
hiding the large text without sensitivity by the attacker by applying the standards in each video frame such as
PSNR, MSE, Entropy, graph and correlation coefficient.
