The President of the University of Technology honors the lecturers in the Computer Science Department. The Computer Science Department's football team beat the Control and Systems Engineering Department team with a score (4-2) for the Computer Science Department team in the University of Technology Football Championship, first round, today, Tuesday, 2/9/2021, on the university’s stadium, to qualify for the second round.

On Monday, 08/02/2021, Students of the first stage from the Network Administration Branch in the Computer Science Department, visited the Information Technology Center at the University of Technology; to see the center and the nature of the services it provides to the university. They were welcomed by the Director of the Information Technology Center, Dr. Ghassan Bilal Al-Sultani, who provided them with useful advice for their journey. The study was followed by a lecture given by assistant lecturer Muhammad Sabah Rashid and assistant lecturer Hassan Hadi. The lecture dealt with many topics, including maintenance, communications and server management. This visit is one of the many visits that students of the Computer Science Department make to the University of Technology centers in order to develop themselves and keep up with modern technology.
