- The Department of Computer Science discussed the message tagged "Automatic detection of compounds based on characteristic coding" to the master's student (Mustafa Najm Abdullah) Computer Science / Information Systems in the discussion room in the Computer Science Department. This message proposes a system for detecting, tracking and calculating vehicles in normal and complex weather conditions, for example days Rainy and cloudy days, to issue a decision on road conditions, whether crowded or not. The system added a pre-processing process called a technique called histogram equalization of complex weather conditions, which improves clarity Video and decide contrast. The results showed the accuracy of the system used to detect and track vehicles in bad conditions, as the system achieved an accuracy of 97%. The discussion committee consisted of: Prof. Dr. Mitil Emad Al-Din as Chairman, Prof. Dr. Abeer Salem Jamil as Member, Prof. Dr. Nuha Jamil as Member and Prof. Dr. Yusra Hussein Ali as Member and Supervisor.
