A student in the Department of Computer Science (Dhafer Hamid Abdul / College of University knowledge) published his research entitled "Classification of Arab political articles by using a vector support machine with extracting different features" under the supervision of Professor Dr. Ahmed Tariq Sadiq and Assistant Professor Dr. Iyad Roudan for the benefit of the international publishing house (Springer The idea of ​​the research summarizes that the number of political articles that are published on the Internet is increasing, so determining the direction of the political article automatically is very useful in many areas such as educational and security, where three political directions were taken (reform, revolutionary and conservative) to solve this problem. Technicians were used to extracting data and provide SVM, achieving the best results that reach 95%.

Postgraduate students (masters / Ph.D.) conducted English language exams electronically in the laboratories of the Department of Computer Science according to an electronic system prepared by the Information Technology Center and under the supervision of the English Language Center at the university.
