An instructor in the Department of Computer Science publishes a scientific paper in a magazine
The lecturer was published in the Computer Science Department, Prof. Maysa Abd Ali, with the participation of Prof. Ashwaq Al-Abaiji from Karbala University / Department of Medical Engineering and M. Adnan Saleh from the University of Kirkuk / College of Information Technology, for their research entitled "Hiding image information using (LSB) and secret map techniques" in the Q2 magazine published by the Impact Fecter Foundation. The idea of the research is to suggest an algorithm to be evaluated comprehensively on the basis of various criteria such as correlation coefficient, information entropy, homogeneity, contrast, image and histogram, key sensitivity, hiding capacity, quality index, mean square error, signal to noise ratio, and image sincerity. The results show that the proposed algorithm meets all the above-mentioned criteria and surpasses other previous methods and thus it is effective in hiding confidential data and maintaining good visual quality of images and is resistant to various attacks such as differential and statistical attacks and leads to good results in terms of key, concealment ability, quality index and image fidelity.
