A teacher from the Department published a research in the Journal of College of Law / Al-Nahrain University
Lect. Amal Abdul-Jabbar from the Department of Computer Science published a research titled (civil responsibility to practice telemedicine service) in the Journal of the Faculty of Law / Al-Nahrain University. The idea of the research is to praise the great role that technology plays in the emergence of the telemedicine service and not to confine itself to the traditional practice of the medical profession. This service does not require the presence of the patient and the doctor in the same place. The first deals with the nature of telemedicine. As for the second topic, the position of Arab legislation on regulating the practice of this service within the framework of Arab countries in general and Iraq in particular. The third topic deals with the provisions of civil responsibility to practice the profession of telemedicine.

Discussion of doctoral student Jamal Nasser Hassoun
A doctoral student (Jamal Nasser Hassoun) was discussed in the Department of Computer Science / University of Technology for his thesis tagged (Business Scheduling and Memory Management in Big Data and Cloud Computing). This thesis presents two main directions, the first is the mechanism of storage management in large databases and the second is related to scheduling the work associated with This works. The first proposal was implemented on multimedia, which in turn includes four methods, as the first method applies to texts and the remaining three methods to images as types of multimedia. The mechanism for dealing with texts depends on the principle of (Map-Reduce) to extract information from texts. The other three methods depend on different methods of retrieving information and according to what is available from them, as the first method depends on the general characteristics and the second method depends on the extracted objects within the database, and the third method depends on identifying an object (identifying the face) within the images and building tables within the database in an intelligent way. Multiple types of properties were used to build descriptive tables for the stored data, as well as the feature of grouping by means, as well as employing the fireworks algorithm in collecting the images of the detected faces in a way that is easy to retrieve in an efficient manner. The face identification was done with Viola-Jones algorithm and the detection error was reduced by using the SVM algorithm. As for the second approach, the fireworks algorithm was used to solve the work scheduling problem, which is considered one of the difficult problems (NP-Hard Problem) ... and that was on Thursday 1/9/2020 and in the discussion room in the department building and the discussion committee was composed of (a) Prof. Dr. Yusra Hussein Ali and Prof. Dr. Abeer Tariq Mawloud from the University of Technology / Department of Computer Science and (Prof. Dr. Ziad Tariq Mustafa) from Diyala University / Department of Computer Science and (Prof.D. Nada Abdul Zahra Abdullah) from the University of Baghdad / College of Science / Department of Computer Science and (Prof. Dr. Jamal Fadel Tawfiq) from Al-Farahidi College / Department of Medical Device Techniques Engineering in the presence of the student's supervisor (Prof. Dr. Rehab Fleih) Hassan).

مناقشة رسالة الماجستير للطالبة زينب خميس مطر
A master's student (Zainab Khamis Matar) in the Department of Computer Science / University of Technology had a discussion about her tagged thesis (Detecting Fraud in Business Intelligence Using Predictive Analytics) This thesis aims to improve the accuracy and performance of the MPSO algorithm. The proposed solution was developed when two main algorithms were combined, SVM and MPSO. The SVM algorithm is used as a function to calculate the accuracy of the learning as MPSO requires the function of calculating the location precision to find the best solution and location of the swarms. Moreover, MPSO algorithm re-transmits the best mode as feedback on SVM algorithm for best accuracy at optimum time. MPSO algorithm issues have been addressed and are limited to two main parts: learning room management and calculating precision function in SVM. Therefore, the proposed solution proposes a new learning room management mechanism for MPSO acceleration. Moreover, the operation of the SVM is improved by keeping the main information and the content of the dataset as a constant aggregation ... That was on Wednesday (1/8/2020) and on the discussion room in the section annex building and the discussion committee was composed of (Prof. Dr. Rana Farid Ghani and Prof. Dr. Suhad Mal Allah Kazem) from the University of Technology / Department of Computer Science and (Prof. Ali Makki Sagheer) from Anbar University / Department of Computer Science in the presence of the student's supervisor (Prof. Dr. Abeer Tariq Mawloud).

Discussion of the master thesis of the student Ali Abdul-Kazim Taher
A discussion of the master student (Ali Abdul-Kazim Taher) was conducted in the Department of Computer Science / University of Technology on his thesis entitled (Improve Genetic Algorithm Population Using Artificial Bee Colony) The Bee Colony Algorithm (ABC) is an approach of swarm intelligence that simulates the behavior of searching for honeybees in the colony, Initially, suggested solving numerical optimization problems using a unique mechanism to search for adjacent solutions. 2-opt algorithm is one of the most popular local search algorithms to solve the (TSP) problem. The principle of the algorithm is to randomly switch two cities to a specific path to produce a new path so that the total distance of the new path is shorter than the total distance of the original path. In this thesis, two methods are proposed to improve the genetic algorithm. The first by using bee colony algorithm (GABC). The second method is to improve the genetic algorithm using the 2-opt (GOPT) algorithm. The problem of generating random numbers RNG (necessary for coding algorithms) and the problem of TSP was chosen to test the two proposed methods for improving the genetic algorithm .... This was on Thursday, (2/1/2020) at the discussion hall in the department and the discussion committee consisted of (Dr. Aliaa' Karim Abdel Hassan and Dr. Ikhlas Khalaf Kabbashi) from the University of Technology / Department of Computer Science and (Dr. Haitham Abdel Latif Omar) from Alsalam University College / Department of Computer Science with the presence of the student’s supervisor (Dr. Suhad Mal Allah Kazim).
