Dr. Aliaa' Karim Abdel Hassan from the Department of Computer Sciences received a letter of thanks and appreciation from the President of the University of Technology Dr. Imad Hussein Marzah Al Husseini due to the outstanding efforts in the publication of scientific research in the Clarevet containers within the initiative (250 scientific research for authentic publication) for the academic year 2018-2019 in our university hoping from her to do more to serve our university and our beloved Iraq.

Dr. Shaimaa Hameed Shaker from the Department of Computer Sciences received a thanks and appreciated letter from the Faculty of Information Technology / University of Babylon in appreciation of her extraordinary efforts in the committee to discuss the thesis of the doctoral student (Turky Talib Hashoush), hoping from her to give more serving the public interest.

The Department of Computer Sciences held a workshop entitled (e-learning) on Wednesday 25/9/2019 at the discussion room in the department for the lecturer Dr.Uday Ali Ahmed from the department of Electrical Engineering / University of Technology (currently one of the members of the ministerial team for the project of e-learning and long-distance learning within the projects of the government program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research awarded the grant of IREX scientific exchange for small projects) the workshop was attended by Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdel Wahab and the Administrative Assistant Ayad Roudhan and the Scientific Associate Soukaina Hassan Hashim and faculty members and a large number of attendees.

The workshop discussed e-learning and how to spread the culture of e-learning to students and teachers and the importance of students learning skills before graduation, such as arranging electronic reports, organizing presentations to explain a project or homework, seeking to apply the requirements and standards of the quality of scientific laboratories and seeking to spread the culture of e-learning within the government program.

The Department of Computer Sciences held a workshop entitled (the requirements for progression in the global university ranking) on Wednesday 25/9/2019 at the discussion hall in the department for the Asst. Lect. Taiba Walaa El-Din Khairy Director of the Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations Division in the department. the workshop was attended by the head of the department Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdel Wahab and the Administrative Assistant Dr. Ayad Roudhan and the Scientific Associate Dr. Soukaina Hassan Hashim and faculty members in the department and a large number of attendees.

The workshop discussed a number of topics, including:

• The importance of the digital repository, which falls within the government program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research
• The importance of uploading lectures on Google Classroom.
• The importance of sending published research to the teaching, especially for the media and national classification.
• The importance of holding workshops and seminars to raise the scientific and cultural level of students and teachers.

Prof. Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdul-Wahab participated in the discussion committee of the doctoral student (Basem Sahar Yassin) in the Department of Software / College of Information Technology / University of Babylon on his research titled (stream cipher analysis based on (D N A)). Tuesday 9/29/2019 at the university conference hall. Note that this thesis was written in English language under the supervision of (Prof. Dr. Sattar Badr Sadkhan) and scientifically evaluated by (Dr. Soukaina Hassan Hashem) / University of Technology / Department of Computer Science and linguistically by (Asst. Lect. Kadhum Muhammad Musa) from Babylon University / College of Basic Education.
