The branches of the Computer Science Department hold training workshops and electronic experimental examinations
Under the direct supervision of the Head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Alya Karim Abdel-Hassan, the Computer Science Department has established in its six branches (Software, Information Systems, Network Management, Data Security, Artificial Intelligence, Multimedia), training workshops and experimental exams for students of the second, third and fourth stages of the morning and evening studies for a few days. Tuesday and Wednesday 16 and 17 March 2021, as through these workshops, the electronic exam that was adopted in the implementation of the final electronic examinations for the first semester of the academic year 2020-2021 was explained to him. The Department of Computer Science discussed a master's thesis tagged "Proposal to create a SALSA20 key based on face detection technology to encode voice over the Internet" for student Raya Wissam Abdel Jabbar, Computer Science / Information Systems, in the discussion room in the annex building in the Computer Science Department. The message, consisting of five chapters, discusses proposing a security system to encrypt audio data before sending it over the network using the streaming coding system based on the SALSA20 algorithm with the new method. The Department of Computer Science discussed the doctoral thesis titled "Detecting Internal Threats Using Body Language and the Light Graduation Enhancement Machine" by student (Muhammad Abdulaziz Muhammad) Computer Science / General on Thursday 2/25/2021 in the discussion room in the Computer Science Department building. On Thursday, 4/2/2021, a doctoral thesis was discussed, in the Computer Science Department of the student, Saif Ali Abd Al-Reda, in the discussion room in the Department of Computer Science building tagged "Extracting wisdom in English poetry using English text mining and the theory of approximate groups". The idea is extracting information from poems. The thesis consisted of five chapters. It aims to propose and design an intelligent system that has the ability to read the English poem and extract the wisdom in the poem, and it is the first research to be done in this regard, where five models of systems were proposed based on several paragraphs for the purpose of achieving the goal and the researcher concluded that relying on Speech sections is an advantage for extracting wisdom and achieving the highest results.
