He stressed the need for the questions to be comprehensive and confidential test has proved the success of the experience of the competitive examination with the private colleges, making the Department of Computer Sciences a place of pride and appreciation by the university. Thank you and appreciation to the professors of the department for maintaining the confidentiality of the questions. the role played by the departments especially after the university's declaration of independence, especially with regard to the direct acceptance of preliminary studies and postgraduate studies, which can not succeed except by the concerted efforts of all. Over the past five years, many have been completed:

Scholarships and the construction of the infrastructure of the university and the need to benefit from the expertise of professors returning from abroad and encourage research missions associated with the Department of research and development in the ministry and leave the study and scientific assignment and deliveries within Iraq and the establishment of scientific conferences, the most recent of which was the Nanotechnology Conference, which was attended by the Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al Abadi on Wednesday 2/5/2018 in the presence of a large number of personalities and the establishment of the Conference on Sustainable Development and the Conference of the Department of Computer Sciences and participation in conferences held outside the University and the establishment of training courses and workshops in the training center, laboratories and the Center for Continuing Education and the university gold medal for the patent presented at the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.

The increasing number of Arab and foreign visitors and the signing of the MoU with regard to students and professors. The university's resources have increased from the Office of Engineering and Scientific Consultations and the University's courses which are part of the university's fund which serves the university in all aspects and the increasing numbers of students accepted and graduates during the past five years. In conclusion, the President of the University expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Head of Computer Sciences Department for maintaining the University's reputation in all And wishing her success.

- The student (Sura Rahim Eidan) obtained her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (Face Recognition Technology To Monitor Class Attendance). In this study, biometrics literature was presented in general and its characteristics, applications, Work in general, and compare the different types of measurements, because the facial recognition system, is one of these types of measurements. In addition to identifying the structure of the system, the methods used in each step starting from the detection stage, draw characteristics down to the recognition process, the challenges faced by each stage and common techniques. Building an automated attendance management system by identifying and identifying people based on the face recognition technique, this system has advantages that surpass traditional systems and some automated systems based on other biometrics in attendance management. More than one person can be detected Identify it at the same time and record attendance, and report it.

- Saif Al Din Salem Ahmed received his master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for his thesis entitled (Development of the model of detecting anomalies in the e-commerce database system). This thesis proposes designing a system for detecting anomalies for e-commerce sites. This proposed system consists of the first two phases of the consolidation phase and the second the classification phase. In the first stage, the modified PMK-MEMS algorithm was proposed as a first step for data collection and the SVM algorithm as a second stage of data classification to solve the problems and abnormal movements of e-commerce data. The proposed amendment will be applied as a pre-processing of the PMK-MEMS algorithm. The main objective is to generate aggregates of e-commerce transactions for the anomalous data set and then apply the SVM algorithm to classify the data set and detect the anomalies of the data set.

The discussion was on Monday 14/5/2018 at the discussion hall in the annex of the department. The discussion committee was composed of Prof. Dr. Yousra Hussein Ali and Dr. Mohamed Natik Fadel from the University of Technology / Computer Sciences Department and (Dr. Inas Mohammed Hussein from Al Mustansiriya University / Faculty of Education / Department of Computer Science in the presence of the student supervisor (Dr. Abeer Tariq Mouloud).

- The student Dalal Naeem Mahmoud received her doctorate from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis titled "Optimizing network security by increasing the efficiency of time spent in management." The researcher addressed the goal of computer independence and defined it by making computer systems automatically managed by independent managers to mitigate Obstacles caused by management complexities. The hardware failure or failure is one of the biggest problems in the network environment, and the second problem is security, especially how we work to protect communication channels and data integrity of the server. In this thesis, the proposed system aims to solve the above problems which consists of three parts: Part I is the part of self-management of errors, which is an effective automated part that uses the smart agent and standard tool management technology. Windows standard tool management technology has been used in the proposed system in a localized manner (instead of distributive method), leading to faster access to hardware-related devices to efficiently manage error management as well as to reduce the burden on the server part to avoid network bottlenecks.

The discussion was on Wednesday 9/5/2018 at the discussion hall in the annex building of the department. - The student Suheir Mohammed Zaki received her doctorate degree from the Department of Computer Science / University of Technology for her thesis (Healthcare Management System and data warehouse assist on decision-support for solving practical problems). The student's thesis aims to achieve a specific goal by building an electronic health system Meets the needs of the Iraqi individual in the health sector, which makes it difficult to go to the health centers for urgent medical consultation or to schedule a visit to the doctor for the provision of effort and cost and speed, as well as to strengthen coordination between health and information systems management which Folding traditional high-quality health systems and the development of the application to ensure that the patient receives health services in the community.

In the system that was designed, the data warehouse was used to achieve an individual medical analysis and then a community analysis for community health management using huge data to be processed scientifically and accurately using modern communication devices to create communication between patient, doctor and health workers to save time and effort for remote and rural areas This project is a health care system with data warehouse data.
