A Seminar on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence in the Operational Field
The Center for Strategic Studies and Research held a seminar on "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence in the Operational Field," presented by Dr. Mustafa Tariq Abdul from the Technological University, Department of Computer Science. The seminar was attended by the President of the University of Defense for Military Studies, Lieutenant General Pilot Dr. Aqeel Mustafa Mahdi, the Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs, deans of colleges, the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies and Research, Major General Abbas Lifta Odah, and a number of representatives from departments and directorates of the Ministry of Defense, as well as higher degree holders from the university and its formations. The seminar, titled "The Impact of Artificial Intelligence in the Operational Field," covered several topics, including the use of artificial intelligence tools in the military institution and its impact on the operational field, as well as identifying its risks and future challenges.
The seminar included some questions about the topic's aspects, and the answers were clear and transparent. In conclusion, Dr. Mustafa Tariq Abdul was thanked and acknowledged by the President of the University for his insights and ideas presented during the seminar.

Launch of the Journal of Soft Computing and Computer Applications
With the help of God Almighty, the website for the "Journal of Soft Computing and Computer Applications" has been launched. This is the first modern scientific journal in the Department of Computer Science issued by the Technological University on the Digital Commons platform owned by the Dutch publisher Elsevier. The journal is published twice a year and aims to highlight modern technologies and concepts in the field of soft computing and the latest applications and innovations in the field of computing.

The Director of the Information Technology Division and the Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division in the Department of Computer Science Attend the Workshop on "Quality of Websites"
The Director of the Information Technology Division, Lecturer Dr. Mohammed Natiq Fadhil, and the Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, Lecturer Nada Najil Kamal, attended the workshop titled "Quality of Websites". The workshop was organized by the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance in collaboration with the Information Technology Center to highlight the quality requirements of websites through forms, guides, and according to the directives issued by the Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs.
Members responsible for the electronic sites in various departments and centers of the university, as well as quality managers from the Department of Civil Engineering, attended the workshop. It took place at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, 6-3-2024, and provided an opportunity for raising questions and discussing the topic.
