Discussion of the master thesis of the student Saif Al Din Salem Ahmed
Saif Al Din Salem Ahmed received his master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of
Technology for his thesis entitled (Development of the model of detecting anomalies in the e-commerce database
system). This thesis proposes designing a system for detecting anomalies for e-commerce sites. This proposed system
consists of the first two phases of the consolidation phase and the second the classification phase. In the first
stage, the modified PMK-MEMS algorithm was proposed as a first step for data collection and the SVM algorithm as a
second stage of data classification to solve the problems and abnormal movements of e-commerce data. The proposed
amendment will be applied as a pre-processing of the PMK-MEMS algorithm. The main objective is to generate
aggregates of e-commerce transactions for the anomalous data set and then apply the SVM algorithm to classify the
data set and detect the anomalies of the data set.

Discussion of the doctoral thesis of the student Dalal Naeem Mahmoud
The student Dalal Naeem Mahmoud received her doctorate from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of
Technology for her thesis titled "Optimizing network security by increasing the efficiency of time spent in
management." The researcher addressed the goal of computer independence and defined it by making computer systems
automatically managed by independent managers to mitigate Obstacles caused by management complexities. The hardware
failure or failure is one of the biggest problems in the network environment, and the second problem is security,
especially how we work to protect communication channels and data integrity of the server. In this thesis, the
proposed system aims to solve the above problems which consists of three parts: Part I is the part of
self-management of errors, which is an effective automated part that uses the smart agent and standard tool
management technology. Windows standard tool management technology has been used in the proposed system in a
localized manner (instead of distributive method), leading to faster access to hardware-related devices to
efficiently manage error management as well as to reduce the burden on the server part to avoid network
bottlenecks.

Master Thesis Discussion for the student Sara Qusay Salah Aldeen
The student (Sara Qusay Salah Eddin) obtained her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (Audio Classification based on Polynomial Interpolation) In this thesis, two main algorithms were proposed for gender classification based on sound. A new algorithm was used to classify between Gender based on self-association. In the beginning, the signal is reworked to fill the blanks between the signals, then a convoluted signal is made to a cross-correlated signal. Finally, gender is classified by cross-correlation. The sound is defined as a male voice if the band is at the volume value between 85 Hz and 155 Hz, while the female voice is selected if the band is in the volume value between 165 Hz and 255 Hz. The 2270 sample audio data (including 1132 female and 1138 male) is used to evaluate the proposed algorithms. The result of the algorithm is obtained 99% accuracy rate and 33% call rate when using the standard sound. The result is when using real audio 83% accuracy rate, the call rate is 1.0%.

Discussion of the Master Thesis of the student Haidar Mohammed Alwan
The student Haidar Mohammed Alwan received his master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for his thesis entitled (A Proposed Algorithm to Decrease False Alarm in Intrusion Detection System). In this thesis the proposed system is to use the equations of the Bezier Curve to select the locations of the images from the secret image and then use The logical operation (XOR) between the site content (pixel data) selected according to the Bezier equations and the key and output of this process is hidden in the N-images of the cover images. The proposed masking system gives high security and can hide a large size image in a small image collection. The quality of Stego images is evaluated after data is hidden using the PSNR and MSE evaluation criteria. The results show that this method is more accurate than the traditional method. In addition, the use of more than one image envelope instead of one envelope to increase the load of hidden data will further complicate the end The third to recover the hidden image, because getting one or two or three of the cover images will not enable him to obtain the secret image.

Doctoral dissertation discussion of the student Ekhlas Faleh
The student Ekhlas Falih obtained her PhD degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her dissertation. That proposed a system used the BOVW to understand the event in which the video data is extracted and compiled to generate a group Of the visual words that form the visual dictionary. As a pre-processing phase, the video images are converted to gray and then converted using the Haar filter for the purpose of implementing the proposed algorithms with minimal complexity. The first stage of the proposed visual system is to extract important points from the images. The proposed system used FAST characteristics to extract angles as important points. The FAST has been improved by proposing an adaptive threshold rather than a fixed threshold to reduce the space of attributes and increase the speed of implementation of the proposed system. After discovering the important points, the proposed system uses SURF as a second stage of the video bag system to build the local descriptor for these important points and generate a signature for the image that is fixed with rotation and zoom.

Master thesis discussion for the student Mariam Taha
The student Mariam Taha Sulaiman obtained her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (Suggested Arabic voice Captcha). The proposed Arabic Captcha includes Arabic pronunciation and presentation in an audio clip with a confusing background to the user. User is to rewrite what was read or heard. If the user is a real person and passes the test, the service will be processed by the website, otherwise access to the available service will not be granted and another voice test will be provided. This process continues until the correct answer is given by the user. In the proposed system, the test is generated as a random series of bits using a number of semi-random generators. The required number of bits is determined according to the number of symbols needed to distinguish. The group of Arabic symbols (letters and numbers) is converted to be concatenated with some distortions and effects to confuse attempts to penetrate the system
