Master thesis discussion for the student Duaa' Jafaar Fhadil
The student Duaa Jafar Fadel received her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences - University of Technology for her thesis titled "Planning the Paths of a 3D Environment Using Flexible Computing." In this thesis, she studied the path planning of the robot in a three-dimensional environment which can serve different applications in different conditions One of the latest types of applications is when the robot can move in all directions around itself, which means (26 points) about the robot can be moved without any movement determinants. Of its applications UAV, the unmanned aircraft as well as AUV, the underwater boats, as it has the ability to move and flood in the air and underwater and even in outer space, making them very useful in the applications of the modern world. Such as path planning. Nature-inspired algorithms are known to be the most influential because of their ability to solve simple and complex problems of single, binary, three-dimensional environments, and so on. The thesis proposes three ways to solve the problem of route planning in the 3D environment using flexible computing techniques. The first method is a proposed modified version of one of the modern algorithms inspired by nature, the modified Firefly algorithm (mFA). The second method is a proposed modified version of the algorithm known as A *, which was modified to operate in a fixed and mobile 3D environment. The third method is a hybrid method The first and second methods are used where mFA is used to generate an external path to drive mA * internally as partitions, where mA * generates several internal paths that combine to form the final path.
This was on Tuesday 3/4/2018 and at the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of (Dr. Ayad Roudan Abbas and Dr. Shaima Hamid Shaker) from University of Technology / Department of Computer Sciences And Dr. Nada Abdul Zahra Abdullah from Baghdad University / Faculty of Science / Department of Computer Science.

Master thesis discussion for the student Sanaa' Ali Jabir
The student (Sanaa' Ali Jabir) received her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (Video analysis to track object in different scenes)
In this thesis, traditional surveillance systems have been developed and supported by intelligent technologies that have the ability to perform parallel processing of all cameras to track people in various scenes where the cameras are placed, and to retrieve important information accurately and quickly. The system consists of the following stages:
- Default phase: Includes database creation and system training. li>
- Actual phase: Distinguish detected faces and compare them with the database. li>
- Tracking phase: The person detected and tracked is tested in the actual phase to verify It was inside the database or in addition to rebuilding the video for great tracking.
This was on Wednesday, 28/2/2018, and at the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of (Dr. Abdul Amir Abdullah Karim and Dr. Rana Farid Ghani) from the University of Technology / Department Computer Sciences, Dr. Diaa' Abdul Hussien Jomaa' from University of Mustansiriya, Department of Computer Science.

Discussion of the doctoral thesis for the student Raghad Mohammed Hadi
The student Raghad Mohammed Hadi received her Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (Text Document clustering model using Singular Value Decomposition and Modified Fuzzy C Mean.). The student thesis proposed a system that tries to help the user to compile a large data set from any source and design A program that can identify the information that helps to bridge this huge data by analyzing the data set given. This data processing has been enhanced by adding a stage called a remote processing step. This step helps the proposed system to extract important terms that affect In the compilation of documents, and the proposed system has been adapted to this aspect because some terms negatively affect the compilation process, which takes a long time to compile, the proposed system finds terms that have a high repetition in the document and exclude the terms that have low repetition in the document, The proposed system is based on statistically significant and related terms that lead to the consolidation process. It was on Monday 26/2/2018 and on the discussion hall in the department and the discussion committee was composed of (Dr. Matheel Emaduddin Abdel Moneim, Dr. Aliaa' Karim Abdelhasen and Dr. Hassanein Samir Abdullah) from the University of Technology / Department of Computer Sciences and (Dr. Thaher Abdul Hadi Abdullah) from the University of Diyala / Faculty of Science / Department of Computer Science and (Dr. Mortada Mohammed Hamad) from Al Anbar University / Department of Computer Science.

Discussing the Master Thesis of the student Mohammed Rajeh
The Student Mohammed Rajeh Mohammed received his master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / Technology University for his thesis (Improved background subtraction in
video surveillance). This thesis provides a video surveillance system with detection of moving objects. The system works on recorded video frames from a fixed camera. The system starts by implementing a non-linear algorithm to capture the video movie and split this video movie into several frames. Then, apply the training algorithm to manipulate those frames for initial background modeling using the enhanced k-mean algorithm. Next, the front-end detection algorithm was made by applying a threshold to the absolute difference value of the current image frame and background image. While the blind background maintenance approach was provided for background maintenance. This was on Thursday, February 22, 2018 and at the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of Nidaa' Falieh Hassan and Dr. Hanaa' Mohsen Ahmed from the University of Technology / Department of Computer Sciences and Dr. Abdulwahab Sami Ibrahim from Al Mustansiriya University, College of Education, Department of Computer Science.

Master Thesis Discussion of the student Safa Abdul Jalil
The student Safa Abdul Jalil Ibrahim received her master degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis entitled (Document Clustering and Classification Using AI techniques). The thesis proposed a system that includes monitoring and non-monitoring techniques, which provides an improved method of assembly as an unattended system and a suggested method of classification as a monitoring system. The system works in three stages, starting with the processing phase, which improves the documentation. It is known that all documents contain unwanted symbols, numbers and words, in addition to multiple forms for each term, which causes confusion of the system. Therefore, the processing phase improves the documentation for the best possible results. the discussion was on Thursday 21/2/2018 and the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of Dr. Hassanein Samir Abdullah and Dr. Ayad Rowdan Abbas from the University of Technology / Department of Computer Sciences and (Dr. Jen Jalil Esteifan) from the University of Information and Communication Technology.
